Totally TKD July 2011

Hi, it's Kalynn here from The Taekwondo Network. Happy Birthday USA. For those of you who live in the United States, I hope you are enjoying the 4th of July, Independence Day celebrations. This months Totally TKD is once again packed with useful information including connecting the dots. Or rather, the influence of Buddhism, Confucianism and Taoism on traditional Taekwondo. The article begins on page 11. It has been an incredible experience for us to see them and (I have it on good authority from an insider that it's been great for North Koreans as well). Great articles as well on Nutrition for Athletes, a topic often ignored in martial arts books and magazines; and the dojang family which is a warm and reflective look at the history we experience after belonging to the same school for a long time.
