{Totally TKD} TkdTimes eZine Issue 15 September 13, 2010 |
HeyTotally TKD September 2010First I want to thank you for being a subscriber to my monthly newsletter. The fact that I have a hard time putting together the TKDTimes each and every month is what has prompted me to tell you about Totally TKD.Totally TKD is a magazine created by my friends at Rayner's Lane Taekwondo Academy in the UK. They have been writing a great online magazine that really rivals any paid magazine you may have purchased over the years. And, fortunately for us, they have let The Taekwondo Network become a distributor. They do such a good job with their monthly ezine, that I can't compete so I figured why not share it with my visitors too! Every month, The Taekwondo Network will send out an email with the download link of the current Totally TKD ezine and any other updates that you may be interested in. Also, I have a favor to ask you. I have slowly been migrating my subscriber list to a new service. You probably received an email from me asking you to opt-in to the new system. I will continue to use both systems for a few more months, but to keep receiving mailings from The Taekwondo Network, you will have to confirm your subscription with my new host. Simply go to www.Taekwondo-Network.com and sign-up for our free monthly newsletter again, Totally TKD, and you will automatically end up on the new mailing list. It's as simple as that. Thanks for your continued support. I wish you all the best success with your tae kwon do training. And here is your link to Issue 19 of Totally TKD! Post Your Taekwondo TournamentsDon't forget the new Taekwondo Tournaments page.Several of you submitted upcoming tournaments that are now listed in that section of the website. A month's notice would be appreciated in order to get your tournament posted in time. It is important that you include details about your tournament and not just a date and city or your information will not be published. Good luck to everyone who is preparing for an upcoming event. TKD Tournaments are a great way to improve your tae kwon do techniques. It's very educational and gratifying to take your skills out of the dojang and put them up against other competitors. It will make you a better martial artist. Visit The Tae kwon do Tournaments Page TKDspace.comAt TKDspace, we have over 1900 members with more joining every week. If you haven't already, I invite you to visit TKDspace and claim your free page. It's on me.Use this invite link to join TKDspace.com for free. Invite Your FeedbackI get quite a lot of email from visitors to The Taekwondo Network. Unfortunately, I just don't have the time to personally correspond with all of them which gave me an idea.I am going to turn the Your Feedback page into an interactive submission process. So rather than just my seeing the feedback, we will all see the questions and stories that until now, were only shared with yours truly. This way, you can all comment and offer advice to the other visitors of the site, much like the comments section of a blog. Check the Your Feedback page, at the bottom, and see the questions asked by other visitors to the network. Nominate Your MasterMany of you have requested the guidelines for creating a page on the site about your master. I would really like to add pages dedicated to all the great Masters out there. Send me an essay about your Master so I can begin a library. Let's work together to give them the recognition they deserve. Just 300-400 words would be great. Don't let the word "essay" scare you! It's really just their resume and some of your personal observations. This is Issue: 15 of TkdTimes. A Free eZine from The Taekwondo Network that now includes Totally TKD magazine. If you enjoy TkdTimes, please forward this copy to a friend. You can help me spread the joy of tae kwon do around the world. The more of us who walk the path, the greater the journey. We are a great community with a so much to share. Oh, if you need the link to the free clip art page again, here it is and thank you for signing up for the eZine.Free Clip Art Okay, we are at the end of another edition of TkdTimes. I hope you made some solid resolutions for the year. Let's help one another stay on track. "Learning never ends."-Japanese Proverb To Your Success... Kam sa ham ni dah, Kalynn |
