WON-HYO means "dawn" and was the influential monk who introduced Buddhism to the Korean peninsula during the Silla Dynasty in the year of 686 A.D.

Won-ho is the fourth of 24 International Taekwondo Federation hyungs and has 28 movements.

The ITF poomse are philosophically connected to events and people of Korean History though some question the ability of a form to actually make that kind of tangible connection. At least we can say it's a better stretch of the mind than any that can be made from an aerobics class.
